ベルリンと東京を拠点とした香りをデザインするスタジオ、AOIROが手がけたエッセンシャルオイルブレンド「HIMOROGI」です。その主題は、一万年の時を遡る「縄文の森」。モミ、ヒバ、オークモス、コウヤマキなど、10種類の調合からなる香りは、無垢で原初的な太古の森と、苔むす大地に濾過され澄み渡った空気と水源を想起させ、彼方の記憶へのアクセスを試みます。圧倒的な生命力に満たされた「静けさ」と、そこに潜む張り詰めた神聖な気配。"HIMOROGI"は、感覚の奥に眠る原始の記憶と感性を呼び起こします。ディフューザーは、兵庫県高砂市にて産出される竜山石(たつやまいし)の柱を二つに割ったもの。仄かな砂色と滑らかな肌をもつ凝灰岩で、割れた断面にエッセンスを垂らし、その香りをお楽しみください。
HIMOROGI is an essential oil composition developed by AOIRO, an olfactory design studio, based in Berlin and Tokyo. Its concept dates back 10,000 years to the Jomon Forest. It is a blend of 10 varieties of natural essences including fir needle, hiba, oakmoss and Japanese umbrella pine. The fragrance evokes pristine and ancient forests and purified air and stream filtered through moss-covered earth, seeking to access distant memories.
A stillness filled with overwhelming vitality, and the dignified, sacred presence lurking within. HIMOROGI awakens the primal memories and perceptions lying deep within the senses.
The diffuser is made by splitting a pillar of Tatsuyama stone quarried in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It is tuffaceous sandstone with a pale sandy color and smooth surface. Drip some essence on the cleft of the stone and enjoy the fragrance.
